Product designer, six years in — the last four in crypto and Web3, two and a half of them at YouHodler. I was hired to lead design on youhodler.com and now head design for both public web products: youhodler.com and youhodler.ar, designed end to end — framing the problem with product, marketing, legal and engineering, then flows, prototypes, interface, and the design QA before release. Under MiCA that also means legal and link audits, regional corrections every time the rules move, and automated tests behind all of it. I prototype and ship in code rather than only in Figma — youhodler.ar is a React/Next.js site I designed and built. Before YouHodler I led design at NEXA, a studio of ten shipping payment and Web3 mini apps, and in 2025 I designed and built Course Center, a Telegram-native course platform that reached 500+ monthly active users before I handed operations on. I work best on the parts of money products where clarity is a safety requirement.
Core competencies
Product design in regulated crypto
Onboarding, payment and verification surfaces; trading, portfolio and buy flows; risk, error and empty states; explainability for automated and AI-driven features. The full path each time: clarifying questions, pain points → problem statements, personas and customer journey maps, user flows, wireframes and sitemaps, high-fidelity responsive UI, design QA and handoff.
Systems, compliance and delivery
Figma libraries — component architecture, tokens, variants, auto-layout, documentation. Multi-language, multi-market UI patterns that let a new region ship as content rather than as a redesign. The quality gate around a live marketing site: QA with automated tests, link and legal-page audits, monitoring, and the regional corrections every time MiCA requirements move. Technical SEO with Search Console, analytics and audit reporting automated. Leading a small team (two designers, one developer) in an Agile setup with Jira and Confluence.
Also comfortable with: shipping production front-end (Next.js, React, TypeScript), Webflow and its CMS API, technical SEO and Search Console, and growth-oriented landing pages & funnels.
Experience
YouHodler
Mar 2024 — Present · Hamburg / Remote
Head of Product Designer — Website
Aug 2024 — Present
- Head of design for YouHodler's public web products — youhodler.com and youhodler.ar — working alongside two designers and a developer, with product, marketing, legal and engineering as the partners on the other side.
- Design end to end: framing the problem with stakeholders, then flows, wireframes, prototypes, UI, and the design QA that happens before every release.
- Built and maintain the cross-site design system — one UI pattern set serving both sites across localised markets, so a new language ships as content rather than as a redesign, and brand, typography and structure stay constant.
- Rebuilt landing-page delivery as a reusable Figma library with fixed handoff standards, so pages ship in a fraction of the time they used to and marketing no longer queues behind design.
- Design in code, not only in Figma: youhodler.ar is a React/Next.js site I designed and built, migrated off Webflow with its search visibility intact.
- Prototype interactions and product animations in code, so stakeholders approve the real behaviour rather than a static mock.
- Keep both sites correct in every market they serve — legal, link and regional corrections whenever MiCA requirements move, with automated checks behind them.
- Read what happens after release — search, analytics, automated audits — and take those findings into the next design round.
Lead Product Designer — youhodler.com
Mar 2024 — Aug 2024
- Hired to lead design on youhodler.com and shipped its marketing surfaces — landing pages, campaign sections, the public side of the buy flow — working inside an established brand rather than around it.
- Built product animations and interactive blocks in code instead of as Figma mockups, so what stakeholders approved is what shipped.
- Worked daily with PMs, marketing and developers in an Agile setup (Jira, Confluence), with design QA before every release.
NEXA — Product Designer
Jan 2020 — Feb 2022
- Led design at a product studio of ten building mobile-first apps for FinTech, Web3 and iGaming clients.
- Designed 10+ Telegram Mini Apps end to end — payment and referral flows, gamification, dashboards, onboarding — on one reusable component foundation, so each new app started part-built rather than from zero.
- Designed to native expectations, not web ones: these apps run inside Telegram on iOS and Android at phone sizes, so touch targets, gestures and platform conventions were the constraint from the first frame.
- Ran the discovery side of client work — workshops, personas, journeys, flows, wireframes and clickable prototypes — so scope was settled on a working prototype rather than on a written spec.
- Built and maintained the shared design system that kept visual and interaction quality consistent as the team grew.
- Introduced fixed brief templates and design retrospectives that cut time-to-market and made handoff to developers predictable.
Course Center — Product Designer & Founder
Jun 2025 — Dec 2025
Founded and run alongside YouHodler; operations handed to trusted operators at the end of 2025, and I stayed on as a consultant.
- Designed and built a Telegram-native course platform end to end — flows, design system, checkout, and the app itself, built with an AI pair rather than an engineering team.
- Designed checkout in TON and Telegram Stars with six access-granting paths, so creators could sell without handling a card flow or a payout account.
- Designed the creator onboarding around the step most creators abandoned — the blank page — using AI to draft a course structure they could then edit rather than write from scratch.
- Reached 500+ monthly active users in three months, every one of them acquired inside Telegram, then handed operations on rather than holding a product I could no longer run.
Freelance — Product Designer
Feb 2022 — Mar 2024 · Hamburg
The studio wound down with the start of the full-scale invasion; I relocated from Ukraine to Hamburg in April 2022 and kept the practice running as freelance.
- Designed products end to end for founders and small teams — discovery and flows, wireframes, prototypes, responsive UI and developer-ready handoff — shipping and iterating rather than delivering once.
- Worked to a date and to a scope, alone: the brief, the estimate, the delivery and the argument about what was worth building were all mine.
- Client-owned and mostly under NDA, which is why this period carries no case study. Happy to walk through any of it in a conversation.
Upwork — Freelance
Mar 2019 — Jan 2020 · Mariupol, Ukraine · Remote
- Led end-to-end projects: research → UX/UI → Webflow/Tilda → launch, including an SEO build of 2,000+ CMS records with generated content.
- Where I learned delivery: scope, deadline, handover, and what a client actually signs off on. Work performed from Ukraine, prior to the relocation.
Earlier work
Not written up as case studies: the artefacts are the client's or no longer exist. Happy to walk through any of it in a conversation.
2020 — 2022
NEXA — client product work
10+ Telegram Mini Apps across FinTech, Web3 and iGaming: payments, referral mechanics, gamification and dashboards, built on one shared component system. Client-owned and mostly under NDA — TrendArena is the one I can show, and it is a case above.
Tools
AI UX & ethics: clear user control, explainable UI patterns, privacy-aware design decisions, and avoiding dark patterns in automation/recommendations.
Education
Mariupol State University
Marketing (BSc)
2020 — 2022 · interrupted
Studies ended with the war in Ukraine — the university city was under siege and the degree could not be completed. Relocated to Hamburg in April 2022 and learned German there.
